Arcola Tent: 17th April - 2nd May 2012
From Tuesday, 17th April - Wednesday, 2nd May 2012, the Arcola Tent, newest venue in the Arcola Theatre family, will be the London home of BABA SHAKESPEARE.
The tent is located near the Arcola Theatre adjacent to the Dalston Eastern Curve Garden and has proven to be the perfect venue in which to host our two week London run.

BABA IS GOING TO STRATFORD!

Baba Shakespeare has been selected to perform in the Open Stages National Showcase staged in Stratford-upon-Avon as part of the World Shakespeare Festival on Friday, July 13th at the RSC’s Courtyard Theatre. As the show chosen from the London region, Baba Shakespeare will be staged alongside the selected show from each of the nine remaining regions in the Open Stages project from across Great Britain and Ireland.

Baba Shakespeare staged its final performance on Friday, 13th July at the RSC’s Courtyard Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon with none other than RSC Artistic Director Michael Boyd in the audience. This performance marked a successful end to the 2012 production. Everyone at Baba Shakespeare wishes to thank all of the support from all our audiences over the last 4 months - you have helped make Baba Shakespeare a true success. Namaste.
